Brian Gable is a Canadian editorial cartoonist and illustrator. He was born on November 25, 1949, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. He is best known for his work with The Globe and Mail, a national Canadian newspaper, where he has been a staff artist since 1987. Prior to that, Gable worked as an advertising copywriter and graphic designer. He has won several awards for his work, including the National Newspaper Award for editorial cartooning in 1986, 1995, and 2001. Gable’s cartoons cover a wide range of topics, including politics, social issues, and international events. He is known for his distinctive drawing style and his ability to convey complex ideas with humor and wit.
